Nowadays, more and more celebrities prefer taking part in charity works, which has trig-gered a hot debate regarding whether it draws the public's attention to the problem or not. In my view, international aid organizations can attract more people' s attention on problems if these famous people give the right assistance and set up good images.

Some believe that the international aid organizations can take advantage of the appeal of celebrities. It is undeniable that campaigns of the international charity groups which are promoted by the public figures, such as politicians, famous singers, movie stars and top athletes, can arouse widespread concern from ordinary people. For example, an interna-tional philanthropic foundation advocated by a famous artist has received millions of dona-tion from her fans, with those money thousands children suffering from a certain disease in the world regain a new life.

However, others argue that, celebrities have brought little help to the charity organizations. To begin with, most of the time, the citizens only pay attention to those who live under spot-light, but Ignore the undertaking they are promoting. Moreover, some public figures just seek exposure and reputation in the name of charity, some even were criticized for fraud donation, which ruins people's trust in these organizations, not to mention saving the prob-lems.

In conclusion, I think that, although sometimes the celebrity effect in the international aid is easy to be doubted, we have to admit that the public figures with positive image can attract more resources and enhance the reputation of those organizations, which can further bene-fit more people in return.
